Pavit is an Analyst at Yaletown, where he supports the firm’s investment and fund operations activities. Based in Vancouver, he contributes across the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, due diligence, deal structuring and execution, portfolio monitoring & valuation, and internal platform development.

Prior to Yaletown, Pavit was a Senior Quantitative Analyst in the Emerging & High Growth Companies group at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, where he advised hundreds of high-growth technology companies on venture financings, cap tables, recapitalizations, and M&A. He worked closely with founders, investors, bankers, and legal teams to execute complex deals, including Clio’s US$900M Series F financing led by New Enterprise Associates. He has also worked in Corporate Development at Mercer International, a NASDAQ-listed forestry company, supporting M&A and global expansion initiatives.

Outside of Yaletown, Pavit is the founder and President of the South Asian Venture Capital Association (SAVCA), a national non-profit advancing South Asian representation and connectivity across Canada’s venture capital and technology ecosystem.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance and Business Law from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA charter holder.
