Farah Jhumra
Investment Analyst
Farah is an Investment Analyst at Yaletown, with previous experience in private equity, data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence. Based in Vancouver, she plays a key role in the investment process, contributing to due diligence, sourcing opportunities, and supporting the structuring, negotiation and execution of transactions.
Known for her innovative approaches and commitment to continous improvement, Farah is dedicated to expanding her knowledge. Prior to joining Yaletown Partners, she served as a Junior Analyst at BCI, where she honed her interest in venture capital within their private equity team. She also worked at Alacrity Canada, where she successfully managed and developed their venture debt lending program for early-stage companies. In addition to her professional roles, Farah has a deep passion for entrepreneurship. She previously founded and managed Cering Technologies Inc., a start-up focused on personal safety through wearable technology. Leveraging her entrepreneurial experience, she mentors other entrepreneurs through The Forum Mentorshop program, guiding them through the early stages of business development.
Farah attended Simon Fraser University where she obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance and Strategy, and she is currently pursing her CFA designation.
